The Most Expensive Restaurants in India

Forbes published a list of the most expensive restaurants in India not too long ago. Do you think these restaurants are worth their prices? What about their wine lists? Would you recommend them? In Delhi Sakura (Nikko), Travertino (Oberoi), Dum Pukht (ITC Maurya Sheraton), Orient Express (Taj Palace) and San Gimigano (The Imperial) were included.Mumbai was represented by Zodiac Grill (Taj Mahal Palace), Celini (Grand Hyatt), Pure (Taj Lands End) and Wasabi by Morimoto (Taj Mahal Palace). Zen (Leela Kempinski) from Bangalore was also included in the list. Pictured above is San Gimigano (The Imperial) which serves the hotel’s own label.India’s newfound appetite for high-end cuisine is attracting the attention of A-list celebrity chefs. Two years ago, “Iron Chef” Masaharu Morimoto, the Japanese mastermind behind the global Nobu sushi franchise, opened Wasabi in Mumbai’s Taj Mahal Palace. And just last year, top Italian chef Antonio Carluccio, a restaurants in beverley perennial favorite on the BBC, designed the extravagant menu at Atrium, located in The Park hotel in Chennai.Forbes.com’s list of India’s ten most expensive restaurants in India is based on recommendations from the country’s top food critics, who insist the pricy menus are worth every rupee. Prices listed do not include taxes, and restaurants are listed in no particular order. This list is hardly definitive. Sushi has swiftly become India’s cuisine of choice, and the crop of exorbitantly priced eateries catering to the raw-fish frenzy could easily have dominated this list. Most of these restaurants are based in hotels, a testament to the role expense-account wielding travelers are having on the nation’s food scene. In Mumbai’s Taj Hotel, New York-based chef Michel Nischan helped open the city’s first all-organic haute restaurant, with a menu that tips its hat to local appetites (try the Kaffir lime martini and the Tamari shrimp and scallops).

Best Italian Pizza restaurant in Coral Springs, Florida

We are from Canada and our family went to Coral Springs on vacation. We usually come down in Florida every winter. thi year, we went to la Fontana Restaurant for dinner and are we ever glad. It is the best restautant I have ever been to any where in the USA. The bread that was brought out to us was excellent and cooked in the wood oven. We were a large group (9 in total with young children). We tried the pizza, pasta dishes and the gelato. All of the food was authentic and homemade italian. On a side note the service was excellent. On my next journey through t Beverley Restaurants his part of Florida I will return to sample some of the other interesting dishes on the menu. The food was excellent and the service was excellent. I would recommend la Fontana Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant to anyone who is visiting Coral Springs, Broward. A pleasure having had this experience at your restaurant. Very nice atmosphere, great people working and managing this place. This restaurant has great Italian food. I really enjoy their raviolis and spaghetti and homemade spaghetti sauce, Servers are very friendly and professional. Prices are pretty good.
